Ride a Bike in Zihuatanejo

Ixtapa Zihuatanejo is a paradise for sports lovers and offers unique spaces designed to practice cycling with more than 14 kilometers of bike paths between charming landscapes. In Zihuatanejo you will find several places to rent your bike or you can ask at the reception of your hotel because some of them have this service included without charge.

There are two main routes that you can take to ride a bike; one of them goes from Ixtapa to Zihuatanejo; and the second one starts atthe Ixtapa Marina, crosses the ecological reserve of Parque Aztlán and concludes at Playa Linda. This ride is not exclusive for cyclists, it will also delight runners, skaters, birdwatchers, and all those who love nature.

For the most experienced cyclists, in Parque Aztlán there are a couple of routes for mountain biking that will enchant everyone with the landscapes.

You can also have a good time taking photos at the lookout that is located on the top of the mountain in Ixtapa, where you will walk along a path of approximately 1 km through Aztlan Park.
