La Isla Ixtapa

Divided in Four Beaches

Coral Beach: Snorkeling here is fantastic; the sand is mostly crushed coral and surrounded by reefs full of sea life. It is an experience you will always carry with you.

Varadero Beach: This is the landing spot for the water taxis. Don't forget, the last boat departure is at 5pm. Here you will find the water is calm and the waves are almost non-existent. A perfect place for one last swim before getting on board the water taxi to return to the mainland.

Cuachalalate Beach: The most popular beach, the name originates from a tree, by the same name, that grows in this area.

Laúd Beach: Leatherback Sea Turtles lay eggs on this beach......in Spanish this species is called Tortuga Laúd.
